Kheradpir now Running Coriant

On 28th September 2015, Coriant, a worldwide supplier of innovative networking solutions announced that Shaygan Kheradpir would join them as the Chief Executive Officer. In addition to being named the CEO of Coriant, Kheradpir was also named the Chairman of the Board. Prior to joining Coriant, Shaygan Kheradpir served as the operating executive of Merlin Equity Partners. During his stay at Merlin, he constantly interacted with the senior management team at Coriant.

His earlier interaction with Coriant helped him learn a lot about the company and its operations. Pat DiPietro, the former president and CEO of Coriant would assume the role of vice-chairman of the company. Coriant maintains that Shaygan Kheradpir is a renowned business and technology leader and has been practicing as an executive in the technology, telecom, and financial services industries for more than 28 years

It is without a doubt that Mr. Shaygan Kheradpir has plenty of industry experience, having offered his services at different companies. Kheradpir was born in London but spent some time in Iran. He graduated from the Cornell University with a doctoral degree in electrical engineering. Mr. Kheradpir started his career at GTE Laboratories where he was charged with the responsibility of managing the company’s product network.

In 2000, GTE was merged with Bell Atlantic to form Verizon. Shaygan Kheradpir was named the president of Verizon’s e-business division. His team came up with iobi and helped Verizon develop FiOS video initiative and DVR. Kheradpir later moved to Barclays as the COO of Global Retail and Business Bank.

At the bank, Mr. Kheradpir improved the existing systems and developed new products. He was promoted to Chief of Operations and Technology Officer in 2013. He diligently served Barclays bank until he moved to Juniper Networks as CEO. Kheradpir executed and incorporated Operations Plan to cut costs and automate operations in an effort to steer the company forward.

He plans on implementing cost-cutting initiatives that will improve efficiency and also better the company’s products and services. More news on the topic can be found at:
