Kevin Scott, Executive vice president – OSI Group North America said that the facility was purchased as part of the company’s strategy to expand the market by reaching out to more customers.
The OSI Group announced its acquisition of Baho Food on August 8th. The purchased Dutch company dealt with the supply of convenience foodstuffs, Deli meats, and snacks across the country. David McDonald, the president of OSI Group, said that the government approval of the transaction was a significant advantage for the company to grow its network all over Europe. The officials and staffs of the Baho Foods remained as part of the enterprise combining strength for better performance.
The multi-billion company, recently made a significant move by purchasing the Flagship Europe Company. The former CEO of the Flagship Europe, Russel Maddok acknowledged that the company merging with the OSI Group was a correct decision. He added that working with the OSI Group will lead to access to more resources necessary to stay ahead of the competition in the food industry.
